Oval Kennington Reimagined Mural Design

After pitching my concept for the road mural and incorporating local school kids ideas for what they would like to see in the space, I delivered almost 500 metres of road mural around Oval Cricket ground with the amazing help from my assistants. The design gives a nod to the Oval cricket ground with abstract cricket references as well as play on way features for the kids like trial runs, hop scotch, champ squares and floor is lava games. Organic shapes and a cohesive colour palette to match the planters bring the space together to create a more vibrant and safer space for people to enjoy. In this car free zone you can play ping pong, football, cricket or just sit on one of the benches and enjoy some peace.
